replacesFlightConnections Premium · $39.99/yr

FSAtlas

FlightConnections bills $39.99 a year to show you where the planes go. FSAtlas plots 170,000 real routes on your own server and bills nobody.

“It's designed for flight simmers, virtual airline pilots, and aviation hobbyists who want realistic route inspiration for their next flight with powerful filters for MSFS, X-Plane, or Prepar3D without needing a paid subscription like FlightConnections.”

replacesUnplug Alarm Yearly · $11.99/yr

Yowl

Unplug Alarm makes you upgrade to guard your own laptop. Yowl screams, locks the screen and pings your phone when someone grabs your MacBook, and upgrades are not a thing.

“A free alternative to apps like Unplug Alarm, which has paid upgrades.”

replacesAlDente Pro · €11.49/yr

BalDente

AlDente charges €11.49 a year to stop your Mac at 80%. BalDente stops it for free, and knows when you're home.

“Holding it around 80% when it is plugged in is the usual fix, and it has been a paid feature in other apps.”
