CleanShot X costs $35, and that buys one year of updates. Screenshot X keeps the floating previews, pins and scrolling capture, then drops the invoice.
Cleanup.pictures charges five a month and caps you at 720p for free. Erase deletes the photobomber on your Mac at full size.
“No subscription, no upload, no watermark on the output.”
Canva Pro wants a monthly fee to remove a background. Cutora does it in your browser and asks for nothing.
“While Canva keeps useful tools behind Pro plans, Cutora keeps image editing simple, fast, and accessible.”
Otter charges $16.99 a month to send your calls to its servers. Parrot transcribes them on your own Mac, no bot in the meeting, for nothing.
“I got tired of paying for services like Otter.ai that send all my conversations to some server I don't control.”
