“I got tired of paying for desktop apps just to remove dead air from recordings, so I made Pauseless”

Desktop apps charge rent to delete the silence in your podcast. Pauseless finds every pause and um in your browser and hands the cut to your editor for nothing.
Somebody wanted money for a video player your browser already is. Local Cinema is the free ticket to your own living room.
“Charging you to use your own browser to play your own video felt a bit like charging admission to your own living room.”
Falling-notes piano videos cost money or an afternoon of placing every note by hand. TileDropper eats a MIDI file and renders one in your browser, free.
“The apps that make them either cost money or make you place every note by hand, so I built a free one that runs in your browser.”
CapCut lets you edit the whole video, then wants a subscription at the Export button. Concat exports for free and never learned the word watermark.
“I was really excited to complete and upload my first video ever, and everything seemed perfect until I clicked Export and it showed a popup saying that I had to pay a monthly subscription fee to use the most trivial features like voice changers.”
Built something because a company wanted your credit card for a feature that fits in a single file? That's spiteware. Submit it and join the hall of fame.
